Overview
The Mixed Signal Battery Test System uses common control hardware and software that gives customers the ability to configure their system based on desired power requirements and number of channels. This distributed architecture allows engineers to easily expand the system and vary channel requirements. The system runs standard or custom battery charge and discharge profiles with different control types, such as:
- Constant current, voltage, load, and power
- Taper current charging
- Pulsed charging
It also provides capabilities for testing smart battery packs, including:
- Simulated power profiles and waveforms
- System communications such as serial, CAN, and SMBus
- Health and SOC monitoring
