Custom System Design
Bloomy Energy Systems designs and builds custom, turnkey test and data acquisition systems for energy storage applications. Our services encompass specifications and requirements definition, system design, manufacturing, onsite installation, and system training.
Energy Market Experience
Bloomy Energy Systems has delivered products and completed projects across a wide range of storage technologies and industries. Our primary focus is on electrochemical and electrical energy storage systems including batteries, fuel cells, capacitors, and peripheral components such as battery management systems (BMS). Past projects include:
- End-of-line automated test systems for A123 Systems including asynchronous charge, discharge, custom communications, and telemetry signal monitoring for more than 150 ESSs up to 3 kW each
- Battery HIL system used for simulation of 172 cells, thermocouples, CAN and serial communications, current transducers, and general BMS system measurements for U.S. Army TARDEC
- A 2MW utility grid ESS data acquisition and control system that gives operators the ability to configure application specific tests and generate custom power and efficiency performance reports for KEMA

Bloomy Energy Systems is a National Instruments Platinum Alliance Partner. Our technical staff has earned more than 20 LabVIEW and NI TestStand certifications, and our company houses three NI Certified Training Centers in the Northeast US.
KEMA
Bloomy Energy Systems partnered with KEMA-Powertest, a leading authority in energy testing and certification, to develop a data acquisition and control system that evaluates and tests utility-scale energy storage systems up to 2 MW.
